Import Export License Registration is mandatory for businesses involved in import/export activities or both. So, it is important to know the requirements and procedure for getting import & export license registration in Pakistan.
PSW stands for Pakistan Single Window which is developed by PRAL (Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited) under FBR (Federal Board of Revenue). However, PSW ID registration is mandatory for starting Import Export Business in Pakistan. Without having valid PSW ID company cannot clear GD (Good Declaration) and will get stuck in custom procedures.
Documents required for PSW registration of Sole Proprietorship Business
The following documents will be required for Import Export License WeBOC Registration with FBR. Remember, WeBOC ID is mandatory for Import and Export business in Pakistan. Without fulfilling the following documents, cannot get WeBOC ID
- Active NTN (National Taxpayer Number) verifiable from FBR website
- STRN / GST registration certificate (verifiable from www.fbr.gov.pk)
- CNIC Sole Proprietor / Business individual.
- Rent agreement or ownership proof of business premises along with CNIC copy of landlord.
- Utility Bills (Electricity, Landline phone & Gas) of Business premises.
- NADRA’s Verification (VERISYS) of owner CNIC of the proprietor
- Original valid membership certificate of Chamber of commerce & industry or any trade body or association registered with FPCCI with the same address as on NTN.
- Bank statement of the business of last two months along with account maintenance certificate (original slip is necessary).
- Personal Appearance of Owner/authorized Partner.
- Original Clearing agency license (ONLY in case or Clearing Agent)
- Request letter on letterhead in the name of Deputy Collector Customs WeBOC Registration Islamabad Dry Port
- Undertaking on Rs: 100/- stamp paper (signed & thumb impression) along with CNIC copies of witness (original retained)
- 2 visiting cards
- Two passport pictures of the person appeared.
- An attested photocopy set of all above documents along with originals.
- Duly filled, signed a stamped registration form available at www.weboc.gov.pk
Documents required for WeBOC registration for Private Limited Company
For Single Member Private Limited or Private Limited company registration with WeBOC requirements are the same as for sole proprietor registration. Following are extra requirements for Limited company
- CNICs of all Directors Partners / Owner in case of Single-Member Private Limited company (as the case may be).
- Original Incorporation Certificate ONLY in case of LTD Company certified by SECP.
- Memorandum of Association – MOA, latest Form-29, Form-21, latest Form-A (certified/ verified by SECP)
- Original partnership Deed in case of Partnership/ Association of Partnership (AOP)
- Original Boards Resolution on company’s letterhead and authority letter on stamp paper of Rs 100 is required. Documents must be signed by directors as mentioned on latest Form A.
- In case of AOP authority letter on Stamp paper signed by all partners must be provided) as the case may be (Original to be retained)
- NADRA’s Verification (VERISYS) of all CNICs of partners/directors
- Personal Appearance of authorized Partner/authorized Director.
- An attested photocopy set of all above documents along with originals.
